Diving from Hacienda Paradise
Guests wishing to dive whilst staying at Hacienda Paradise can do so through Pro Dive International, a PADI 5-Star dive operator and career development centre. Founded in 2003, Pro Dive International is renowned for its high standards of excellence, quality, and safety. From Hacienda Paradise, guests will be transferred to the dive centre located on the private beach of Royal Hideaway Playacar, located just a short drive away. A full range of scuba certification courses can be undertaken here, catering to guests of all kinds – from those wishing to take their first breaths underwater, to recreational divers looking to turn pro or seasoned adventurers seeking a new challenge such as cave diving.
This dive centre operates up to five local dives each day, including night dives. Two dive boats are on hand to ferry guests to a variety of sites, most of which lie within a short, 15-minute trip from the beach. Extended excursions can also be organised, travelling up and down the coast to experience the likes of the Mama Vina wreck, Playa del Carmen’s bull sharks, the Underwater Museum of Art, Yucatan’s famous cenotes, and more. Rental gear is available on site, comprising 40 individual sets produced by top-quality brands such as ScubaPro and Cressi. Additional cave diving equipment can also be rented and nitrox is free for certified guests.
