Cinnamon Dhonveli’s Koimala restaurant serves buffet-style meals either inside or right on the beach, while the Rehendhi restaurant offers delectable international and Maldivian flavours and features an extended deck beside the ocean. The resort’s third restaurant, Maakana, is situated close to the surf break and boasts a more casual ambiance. For the best view of the waves, guests should head to the Raalhu Bar which offers a relaxed vibe and delicious finger food. Raiyvilaa is a casual lounge and dining area, and is the perfect spot to watch the sunset over a cup of coffee, cooling beverage, or candle-lit dinner.

For even more luxury, guests can visit the Chaavana Spa that offers a steam room and a range of traditional treatments from Balinese expert therapists. Cinnamon Dhonveli also boasts a world-class surf break, known as Pasta Point, and is one of the most sought-after locations by award-winning surfers from around the world – the resort permits only 30 surfers on the island at any given time. Guests can also find a swimming pool, fitness centre, tennis court, and watersports facilities at this resort. Diving from Cinnamon Dhonveli

The newly renovated dive centre at Cinnamon Dhonveli is run by Dive and Sail Maldives, and boasts a brand new building and equipment. It features a shop, workshop, and an air-conditioned classroom, and offers two or three dives every day with a choice of 25 dive sites around Dhonveli – daily night dives can also be organised. Full equipment rental is possible from the dive centre including dive computers, torches, and digital underwater cameras with housing.

Diving is done from a well equipped dhoni which features a toilet, freshwater shower, and sundeck, as well as special support for beginner divers. PADI courses from beginner to divemaster, and a wide range of specialities, can be taught in a variety of languages with special training programs for children.
