Cheng Ho is a traditionally constructed wooden phinisi, boasting teak interiors, spacious and comfortable cabins, and all the diver-friendly features you’ll ever need. This liveaboard offers a comprehensive selection of exciting itineraries in Komodo, and less-traveled diving destinations such as Maumere, with trips lasting between four and eight days. And, no matter which adventure you choose, you'll have a chance to dive up to four times a day at some of Indonesia's most legendary sites, joined by sharks, reef mantas, and more! Back on deck, you can expect luxurious details and highly personalised service, above and below the waves.

Cheng Ho's multi-day dive safaris bring guests right into the action, helping them explore the most dynamic dive sites in Komodo and the southern Indonesian archipelago, according to the season. Voyages focus on the park's famous channels and walls and epic encounters with marine megafauna, including sharks and reef manta rays. You'll enjoy as much or as little hands-on guiding and assistance as you want underwater, plus naturalist presentations and highly-detailed briefings, to help you capitalise on every single dive.
Onboard Cheng Ho
Cheng Ho offers comfortable single, twin, and double cabins with exotic hardwood interiors and the perfect blend of traditional Indonesian design and modern touches. Outside your cabin, you'll find a spacious air-conditioned lounge and dining area, complete with comfortable seating, an entertainment centre, and a well-stocked bar. Three delicious chef-prepared meals are served each day, in addition to hot and cold drinks, snacks, and fruit. Topside, you'll find plenty of room to relax with sun loungers, covered couch seating, and an on-deck hot tub, plus breathtaking panoramic views.
Diving from Cheng Ho
This vessel offers outstanding facilities for divers of all types, with extra support offered for underwater photographers, as well as tech and rebreather divers with prior notice. Each day's diving is conducted from the spacious shaded dive deck and two comfortable custom tenders. Camera rinse bins and a dedicated table are available, as are individual gear storage, and top of the line rental equipment including cameras and computers, as well as 15-litre tanks, and nitrox for qualified divers. Underwater, groups will be split by skill and experience level, working alongside eagle-eyed local spotters and highly-experienced dive guides.
