Vessel information
The 45m Seven Seas is a two-masted traditionally-built Buginese phinisi schooner with an attentive crew of 20, including two cruise directors. Offering luxury liveaboard trips across Bali, Komodo, Raja Ampat, the Banda Sea, Flores, and the Forgotten Islands, Seven Seas roams some of Southeast Asia’s finest dive destinations . Traditional in style yet delightfully modern, guests on board this beautiful yacht have free-rein of multiple relaxation spaces between dives.
When it comes to diving, the Seven Seas’s large dive deck and three tenders ensure your underwater exploration is effortless. First-class itineraries involve incredible diversity - from plunging walls and sheer drop-offs, to reefs, pinnacles, canyons and caves in search of macro critters, sharks, mantas and more.
Onboard the Seven Seas
The Seven Seas’ eight air-conditioned cabins accommodate up to 16 guests, each complete with king size beds or large single beds, and an ensuite bathroom. The saloon and indoor dining area are air-conditioned, but come with large windows that can be opened for a welcoming sea breeze. Meals are served buffet-style indoors or outdoors on the deck, and include plentiful choices including authentic local cuisine and international favourites. There’s a shaded communal area on the upper deck, and shaded loungers in front of the wheelhouse, both which are lovely spots to enjoy a sunset drink from the bar. For the ultimate tanning spot, head to the expansive sun deck and enjoy the panoramic ocean views.
Diving from the Seven Seas
To ensure effortless diving, the Seven Seas’ spacious dive deck comes equipped with nitrox, camera rinse areas, rental equipment and storage space for personal gear, as well as three tenders to ferry guests to and from dive sites. Plus, there are six double kayaks onboard for guests to use between dives. Combine these outstanding facilities with experienced and attentive guides, and you’re all set for exploring this world-renowned destination.
Top tips
- Book an upper deck double cabin with its large windows for the best bedside view on the boat.
- Get an advanced certification before your trip, since many of Indonesia's top dive sites are better enjoyed by those with experience.
- If you want to get up off the sun lounger between dives, take one of the onboard kayaks for a leisurely ride.
