The dive centre’s instructor training department, Big Blue Pro, has certified more Instructors and Divemasters than anywhere else in the world, while Big Blue Tech is the longest-running tech diving centre in Thailand and has won multiple awards. Big Blue also created the first SSI freediving centre on Koh Tao, and were among the very first dive centres to open an ecological branch run by an experienced marine biologist. The resort also has its own underwater videography and photography department, providing guests with personalised holiday souvenirs or teaching them to capture that perfect underwater shot!
Each day’s trips depart from directly in front of the resort, with travel times ranging from 15 to 45 minutes. The dive centre provides well maintained Aqualung, ScupaPro, and Mares equipment for rent, and nitrox and trimix are available for qualified divers. Big Blue’s fleet includes two spacious dive boats equipped with multiple sun and shade decks, bathrooms, and free-flow coffee, tea, water, and snacks.
