Day 1:
(0-1 dives) 3pm trip departure day. Our staff will meet you upon your arrival at Sorong Airport or your local hotel and transfer you to your waiting Manta vessel. Arrivals before midday are best so we can make a check dive at Red Light District (Lampu Merah), just outside Sorong, before we get underway by 3pm for an overnight sail to Central Raja Ampat.

Day 2:
(3-4 dives) Piaynemo area: Barracuda, Galaxy, Bridge & night dive at Kima. Take a short trek up to a viewpoint for a bird’s-eye view of the limestone islands of Raja Ampat.

Day 3:
(4 dives) Fam: Raja Ampat’s iconic dive sites such as Melissa’s Garden, a pristine hard coral garden, My Reef, Keruo Channel, and Way Pretty Shallow. Amazing landscapes and bays.

Day 4:
(4 dives) Yangeffo & Airborek areas to dive amongst the mangroves and visit one of Raja Ampat’s island villages.

Day 5:
(4 dives) Dampier Strait: Sawandarek Jetty, Cape Kri, Sardine Run, and an excellent muck night dive at Sapokren.

Day 6:
(2 dives) Misokon Island: Including Blue Magic & Yellow Fever. Sail back to Pelabuhan Perikanan Sorong (harbor), where you spend your last night on board. Plenty of time to wash and dry equipment, rest and relax, and, if needed, take an early flight the next day.

Day 7:
(0 dives) 5am-10pm. Check out after a light breakfast, farewells, and transfer to a local hotel or airport. Departure from Sorong to Manado/Makassar/Jakarta/Denpasar.

Established in 1989, White Manta Diving boasts a wealth of local experience providing fuss-free diving cruises around Indonesia. Their fleet of vessels have been designed and built by divers, for divers, and are crewed by staff who are highly experienced and in tune with guests’ needs and expectations. The team at White Manta Diving are all passionate about scuba diving and aim to transform each voyage into an adventure that will educate, inspire, and energise their guests. Tours are crafted with this in mind and strive to be as environmentally sensitive as possible.

Onboard New White Manta

The New White Manta liveaboard is one of the largest and most stable dive vessels in the region, providing exciting diving adventures for up to 24 guests in the height of comfort. The onboard chef is regarded as one of the best in the region, serving five delicious meals each day which can be enjoyed al fresco in the outdoor dining area, or in the air-conditioned dining room. Guests can also enjoy the luxurious lounge equipped with a modern entertainment centre or head to the sundeck for a massage on one of many mattresses. 24 hour WiFi is also available when in range.

Diving from New White Manta

This vessel is well equipped for underwater photography, featuring a spacious camera room, a wide outdoor work table, and blow-dry stations, as well as small group sizes split by skill level and air consumption. The spacious dive deck has room for four large custom tenders and personal storage for each diver and their gear. Full rental equipment is available onboard including dive computers and torches, and nitrox is available for qualified divers. PADI Advanced Open Water certification and speciality courses are available on specific journeys and with prior arrangement.
