Day 1: Bitung
Boarding in our charming Phinisi vessel, named Aurora, in Bitung, located just in the heart of the Lembeh strait. After picking you up at the airport, a refreshing welcome drink will be waiting for you on board. It was time to get to know each other and prepare everything to start the adventure.

Days 2-3: Lembeh Strait
Time for some muck diving in Lembeh Strait, renowned to be one of the favorite places for this particular kind of diving, where finding hidden critters around the sandy bottoms will become the ultimate goal of this gorgeous and complete adventure.

Day 4: Tifore Island
Tifore Island is a small island between Halmahera and Lembeh with a submerged reef, where there is a very fishy reef with the possibility to encounter schools of Barracudas, Jackfish, Batfish and Snappers. Cruise overnight to the Goraici Islands.

Day 5: Goraici Islands
Located on the west coast of Halmahera. The Goraici Islands have beautiful white sandy beaches with small villages, amazing reefs and pinnacles. Colorful soft coral in the deeper parts and hard coral gardens in the shallows. We will Overnight Cruise overnight to Patintie.

Days 6-7: Strait of Patinitie
We will spend the next two days in the south of Halmahera. Here, two large pinnacles break the surface and are excellent dive sites due to the amount of schooling fish as well as the healthy state of the soft corals. Strong currents here will dictate when you will dive. Cruise overnight to Pulau Pisang.

Day 8: Pulau Pisang
These two islands and two small rocks between Misool and Halmahera are the perfect spot to spend the day diving in sloping reefs full of soft and hard coral bommies. When the currents are running, the dive sites can be very fishy, and it's possible to see dogtooth tunas passing by. Cruise overnight to Misool, Raja Ampat.

Days 9-11: Misool
Misool is the southernmost island in Raja Ampat, and it is surrounded by several hundred small islands and rocks. Some of the most beautiful soft coral reefs in the world are located here. Many of the dive sites around Misool are just as fishy as the ones in the Dampier Strait, with some schools of barracudas, batfish, snappers, and fusiliers. Not only that, but Misool is also a great macro destination. Known as the kingdom of the pygmy seahorse. Cross overnight to Sorong.

Day 12: Sorong
Unfortunately, it is the last day of this incredible adventure, and it is time to Disembark after a good breakfast and a lot of hugs. Hope to see you again soon!

Day 1: Sorong - Wasai
Upon arrival at the port, you'll be warmly welcomed by our team and guided through the check-in process to begin your adventure. You'll then be transferred by boat to Wasai, enjoying stunning sea views along the way. Once at Wasai, unwind and spend the afternoon at Mioskon Beach, where you can marvel at a breathtaking sunset and create unforgettable memories surrounded by natural beauty.

Day 2: Dampier Strait
Today we start the day with an early morning stroll through the enchanting forest near Wasai. The air is alive with whispers of nature as dawn paints the sky. End the walk in Kali Biru, a serene oasis, where the blue river mirrors the awakening day, creating a tranquil haven in the heart of the wilderness.

Day 3: Dampier Strait
Dive into the vibrant tapestry of Dampier Strait, beginning with a day of snorkeling. Explore kaleidoscopic coral gardens where iridescent fish dance in the crystal-clear waters. Surface to visit a local village, its thatched-roof homes nestled amid lush greenery. Engage with warm-hearted locals, savoring cultural exchanges that mirror the vivid hues of the underwater world.

Day 4: Yanggefo
Yanggefo's mangrove forest is a labyrinth of life, where tangled roots breathe above emerald waters. Sunlight weaves through the canopy, casting intricate patterns. It's a sanctuary for diverse ecosystems, a testament to nature's resilience in Raja Ampat's pristine embrace.

Day 5: Piaynemo

Onboard Aurora

Aurora liveaboard is a classic Indonesian phinisi constructed in the famous boatyards of Sulawesi. This stunning liveaboard offers all the advantages of a modern boat while keeping its traditional, solid teak charm. This spacious sailing vessel can accommodate up to 16 guests in eight perfectly comfortable cabins, with above and below deck options available. The onboard chef creates a range of international and Indonesian specialities, with different offerings each day according to guests’ preferences. Meals are served in the large dining area, which features a bar and comfortable seating as well as an entertainment centre. A second comfortable lounge area is located towards the stern, as is a generous solarium furnished with sun loungers on the upper deck.

Diving from Aurora

Aurora offers three dive tenders as well as a shaded dive deck, with plenty of space for each guest to gear up and store equipment. This area also features outdoor showers and dedicated camera rinse bins, as well as a photography room with workbenches, charging points, and storage - just a few steps away. High-quality rental equipment is available onboard, as is nitrox for certified divers. 12-litre aluminium tanks are used, with both DIN and Int connections, and 15-litre tanks are available on request. While most of this boat’s trips are best for experienced and advanced divers, the crew is happy to offer as much hands-on guidance as each guest prefers, helping intermediate explorers feel perfectly comfortable during each dive.
