Located a boat ride away from Male International Airport - yet far from the paved street, noisy vehicles and high-rise buildings - Vaali Island Escapes and Dive offers a unique and unspoilt experience. Measuring just 500 metres across, Felidhoo is one of the country’s least populated islands, offering guests the opportunity to experience a true Maldivian getaway and connect with tropical nature and friendly local people. Since opening its doors in 2014, this delightful guesthouse has become a refuge for independent travellers wanting a personal and romantic jumping-off-point for exploring the delights of the southern Maldives.
Nestled on the corner of the island, Vaali Island Escapes and Dive began life as a private beach-front holiday home. Driven by the love of hospitality, the owners decided to share their small piece of paradise with travellers, loved ones, family and friends in a peaceful laid-back atmosphere. Expanding from a three-room residence, Vaali Island Escapes and Dive now offers all the charm of a boutique hotel, with all the character, love, and care of a family home. Vaali Island Escapes and Dive is now also home to the first and only dive centre on Felidhoo Island, providing maximum convenience for underwater enthusiasts looking to explore Vaavu’s legendary channels.
