Built explicitly for diving in 2010, and designed to meet the highest safety standards, Amira offers luxury liveaboard trips to Indonesia’s top dive sites. Cruising the world-famous sites of Komodo, Raja Ampat, Triton Bay, Alor, the Banda Sea, the Forgotten Islands and Cenderawasih Bay, this luxury wooden vessel and its highly-experienced, international team promise a dream Indonesian diving adventure for every guest. Add in exciting excursions to secluded beaches, dense jungles and local villages, and Amira assures an all-round five star liveaboard holiday.
Aboard this vessel, you’ll find style, luxury and comfort at every turn. Thoughtful details include sumptuous solid wood interiors, fine dining and a fully stocked bar featuring imported wine and spirits, and optional creature comforts like massage therapy and spa services. With just 19 guests on board this enormous phinisi and a nearly 1:1 crew to guest ratio, you are guaranteed plenty of personal space and delightfully customised service. And, when you aren’t busy blowing bubbles, you’ll also have access to complimentary watersports equipment, an extensive marine ID library, and exciting daily activities organised by the crew.
Onboard Amira
Amira interiors are elegantly furnished, mixing Indonesian charm and modern opulence. Four delicious meals are served each day, featuring a bold mix of Western and local dishes, served in the sociable dining area or al fresco. The spacious air-conditioned lounge features sofas and a TV, while a semi open-air area offers a refreshing sea breeze. Topside, inviting sun loungers are perfect for working on your tan while soaking up ocean views. Diving every day is hard work, and Amira’s expert onboard masseuse will happily untangle your tired muscles after a long day of adventure. Other relaxing details include a top-shelf bar, all-day snacks and drinks, and a lovely observation deck, ideal for curling up with a good book.
Diving from Amira
This boat’s large shaded dive deck comes complete with hot showers and toilets, individual gear storage, and three custom zodiacs to drop divers straight into the action. Plus, a state of the art camera room with individual workstations, electronics charging and storage, rinse and dry areas, and computers for guest use. Nitrox is available, as is top of the line dive equipment including tech gear and rebreathers. Plus, each diver will be provided an ENOS GPS locator device for safety purposes. Four dives are offered each day, including a night dive, and groups are limited to four guests per guide.
