Day 1:Embarkation at the harbor of Labuan Bajo starts from 08:00 to 15:00. Only transfers from Labuan Bajo Domestic Airport are included in the cruise package. Upon boarding, a welcome from the rest of our crew awaits you. Orientation and registration will begin once you are welcomed. You are encouraged to complete your registration and general liability release forms prior to embarkation; this way you will save yourself some time with the orientation and can use this towards getting yourself settled in and rested! If you have not, there is nothing to worry about, as you can complete them after the orientation to hand to your cruise directors. During the registration, agent handling/port clearance fees will be collected as well. Lunch and/or dinner are included. A check dive is possible, schedule allowing.Day 2:We wake up in the north of Komodo National Park. 3-4 dives are done today. Two dives in the north of Komodo Park and 1-2 dives in the south. The northern area of Komodo National Park is characterized by clear and relatively warmer water (25-27°C). The corals thrive from the strong currents that flow between the Flores Sea and the Indian Ocean through the channel. There are small islands and beautiful white sandy beaches scattered throughout the channel. Komodo Island to the west and Flores to the east create a dramatic backdrop, adding to the excitement of the adventure. There are drift dives, sandy bottom macro dives, pinnacles, and even the occasional manta ray that are in store for you in the north. As we head south and near the Indian Ocean, the water temperature begins to get cooler (18-25°C). The colder water creates a breeding ground for plankton, causing the water to become greener and dense with life. With decreased visibility, divers begin to focus more on the reef itself, rather than the wide-angle landscape. This brings into focus an array of interesting marine macro life. An afternoon dive and night dive are done in the area of Pink Beach.Day 3:Early in the morning, with sea conditions allowing in the southern end of the park, we will sail to Manta Alley and onto Horseshoe Bay, where there's a possibility to have amazing manta ray interactions. We spend the day in the south of the channel with both pelagic and macro marine life. As we make our way to Padar Island in the afternoon for a viewpoint hike, guests will be rewarded with an amazing view of the surrounding islands. There are 3 dives and a land excursion on this day. Overnight we sail to the north of Komodo Park.Days 4 & 5:We spend 2 days in the north, diving around Gili Lawa Darat and Gili Lawa Laut. Many of the famous Komodo dive sites are in this area. There are channel drift dives and underwater pinnacles teeming with fish and beautiful coral. Currents can be strong here, as the ocean flows around the small islands; an exciting challenge awaits. We will have 3-4 dives each day.Day 6:Today is our last day of diving, and we will have two morning dives. After the second dive it's lunchtime, followed by the long-awaited land excursion to see the Komodo Dragons on Rinca Island! After the land tour we will slowly make our way back to Labuan Bajo; as the crew washes your equipment, please relax and enjoy. Before arriving in port, we will stop to view the nightly migration of hundreds of fruit bats. An impressive spectacle to see. We arrive at Labuan Bajo in the evening.Day 7:Our crew will transport you to the airport.Sample itineraries are for guidance only. Actual itineraries may differ slightly due to factors such as weather, wildlife, logistics and local regulations.Payment & cancellation terms
