Pick up the Guests at Luwuk Airport or their Hotel early morning or at the time of flight arrival. Onboarding Jakaré in the port of Luwuk and departure is expected around 10am after boat clearance. Welcomed drinks and snacks are served while Cruise Director briefs the guests on the safety, onboard organization, and overall itinerary and presents the crew.
Guests are then shown their cabins to settle in, refresh and get ready for the start of the Cruise. Jakare will sail south toward Banggai. This sailing time will be good to prepare the equipment and rest. First landing in Banggai will be at Paisu Pak, a freshwater lake. After some swimming and Kayak Activities there, Jakare will head to Banggai Bay or Teluk Pulau Pelang. Overnight: Banggai Bay.
Day 2:
We will start early morning with a visit to Komba Komba village, then Kayak in Teluk Cintah and Pulau Banyak, and then visit Bajo Village at Kampung Salakan Jakare, head north and cross to Pompon and stay overnight.
Day 3:
Pulau Puah marks the entrance of the Togean Archipelago before arriving in the Walea Strait (selat Walea). It is a beautiful low sandy island with a fringing reef, and diving there will be mostly wall diving with overhangs and cracks. We will propose Kayaking and diving there, and then we will head west toward Pulau Togean, our next destination.
Day 4:
We will kayak around the multiple islands of the surrounding area and will dive on the B24 Liberator, lying at 16- 20m below sea level on a sandy bottom. The American plane ditched here during WW2 in May 1945 and is still in good condition. We will also enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Togean Island in the vicinity of the wreck location and thereafter go westward toward the strait.
Day 5:
Early morning we will find our way toward the north of Pulau Togean. The crossing up to Wakai through the beautiful selat and then karina beach at Kadidiri Island will take about 3 hours (15 NM). We will drop anchor in front of the Karina beach and swim with the jellyfish in a freshwater lake and then go kayaking.
Day 6:
Jakare will sail eastward in the morning and reach the beautiful island of Malenge and its remarkable biodiversity (12 NM). A visit to Papan village, home of the bajau, will be organized; we will kayak and snorkel there and possibly dive at nearby Malingi Wall, a nice easy dive and spend the evening enjoying a BBQ on the beach.
Day 7:
Early sail toward Una Una Island (24 NM), offering world-class diving and a beautiful untouched natural environment. For those who want to explore on land, a visit to the village and trekking to the Volcano will be organized. We will dive a selection of the best dive sites, including Pinnacle 1 & 2, Kingston Wall and the famous Apollo with its resident barracuda tornado. Visibility is usually good in Una Una, with a small current and an abundance of fish life (including schools of fish, rays, turtle and tuna) and soft coral, giant sponges and sea fans.
Day 8:
Jakare will sail early morning towards Pulau. Tolong and Pulau Waleabahi for discovery, kayaking and diving. Kayaking, snorkeling and diving will be organized, with possibly some trekking and visits to Bajo Villages.
Day 9:
Continue exploring the east part of Togean Archipelago. Jakare will then sail toward Gorontalo at the end of the afternoon.
Day 10:
Expecting to reach Gorontalo early morning and sail toward the Whale Shark area, located approximately 6 km south of the city. There will be snorkeling and diving sessions with these big fish prior to sailing back to Gorontalo. Breakfast will be served, and checkout will be in the morning.
