Highlights

  • Circular route around the best dive sites of the Alor Archipelago
  • Log dives in the rarely visited Lembata
  • Dive at the foot of a (very) active volcano in Komba
  • Seek hammerheads, threshers and mola mola in Alor's cold upwellings
  • Search for the rare Rhinopias scorpionfish in the waters of Alor
  • Enjoy the excellent visibility in Pantar Strait due to consistent currents
Day 1: (1-2 dives) 
Our staff will meet you at Mali Airport or a local hotel and transfer you to Blue Manta at Kalabahi Port. Depending on arrival time, we do a local check dive plus a night dive.

Days 2-4: (3-4 dives x3 days) 
Alor & Pantar Strait (Islands of Kepa, Pura, Ternate & Buaya between Pantar & Alor): nutrient-rich adventurous currents and a diversity of dive site formations make for an abundance of coral and fish, both big and small. We may visit a local village and substitute for a dive. 

Day 5: (3 dives) 
Treweg Island, or Beanbagan. The latter, with black sand, is great for critter spotting. Sail to Lembata.

Day 6: (3-4 dives) 
The Pulau Lembata area, with smouldering Volcanoes reaching down into crystal-clear waters fringed with pristine black corals and large sponges. Sail back to Alor.

Day 7: (2 dives) 
Alor: chance to repeat final 2 dives. Then we sail back to Alor, where you spent last night on Blue Manta in Port.  Plenty of time to wash & dry equipment, rest & relax, and, if need be, catch an early flight on trip departure day.

Day 8: (0 dives)
Check out after a light breakfast & farewells, and we transfer to a local hotel or airport.
