Amaya Explorer is a 35-metre Indonesian phinisi yacht offering small-group and private charter voyages through some of eastern Indonesia’s best-known dive regions, including Komodo, Raja Ampat, the Banda Sea and Alor. Built in Sulawesi and designed with a stunning wooden interior, the yacht combines traditional craftsmanship with air-conditioned cabins, indoor and outdoor dining, a digital lounge for photographers and a well-equipped dive area. With up to 16 guests and a crew of 18, Amaya Explorer is well suited to divers, photographers and groups wanting a comfortable, highly personalised way to explore remote reefs and idyllic island landscapes.

Our crew will be waiting at Mali Airport, Alor or a local hotel for pickup and transfer to Amaya Explorer. A check dive will be conducted after the briefing and after lunchtime, allowing guests to rest after a long flight. Second dive depending on conditions. If weather is good, we might sail directly to Wetar. If weather conditions are still choppy, we might stay in Alor for a few days until weather is calmer.
Days 2-3: Alor
Day 4:
Wetar – Beautiful drop off known for pelagic life.
Days 5 - 8: Banda Sea
Diving around volcanic islands and stunning seamounts in search of hammerheads
Day 9. Ambon
Diving around Ambon, such as Hukurila or Pintu Kota, or night diving in Laha
Day 10. Laha
Muck Dive. Spend your last diving day in world-class macro dive sites. Allowing plenty of time to wash & dry equipment, rest & relax in Ambon Bay.
Day 11. Check out
Check out after a light breakfast & group photos; afterwards, we will transfer you to a local hotel or Ambon Pattimura International Airport.
