Diving with Ra Divers
Ra Divers is one of Fiji’s best-established dive centres, offering a full range of PADI and SSI courses to complement fantastic leisure diving led by local experts. The sites around this resort are among the most spectacular in Fiji, famous for their colourful soft corals and incredible diversity of marine life. Volivoli’s dive facilities are some of the best in the region, with well-maintained and purpose-built dive boats, top-notch rental gear, nitrox and a camera room. There are over 50 incredible diving areas nearby, suitable for various levels of experience - and most of the best are just a 20-minute boat ride from the beach.
Volivoli has its own house reef with 24/7 access. The sites offer muck diving with plenty of critters to discover - perfect for photographers. The resort also boasts some of the best snorkelling in Fiji, just a few fin kicks from the shore, and Ra Divers’ staff is happy to give you a quick lesson, lend you complimentary equipment from the dive shop, and send you on your way. These self-guided adventures are a great way to experience Fiji’s underwater world by day or night, and nature lovers can often spend entire days exploring here. During construction, much of the property was left undeveloped, showcasing the region’s lush forests and tropical plants and pristine beaches. The property uses organic produce and sustainably caught seafood whenever possible, reducing impact and supporting the local agricultural economy.
Diving is focused on caring for the nearby natural habitats and instilling respect in all the divers the resort trains and supports. The Volivoli team have also been integral in the drive to create a Marine Protected Area across the Bligh Water.
