Located just steps away from the dive centre, Umbi Sharks Bay’s private jetty provides direct access to the bay, meaning no long transfers or crowded harbours – ensuring guests are the first to set sail for their daily dive trips to guarantee the best possible experience. With this resort’s experienced guides, divers can explore the many underwater wonders of the northern Red Sea, from the breathtaking Ras Mohammed to the fascinating Straits of Tiran. Full sets of scuba equipment are available to rent from the dive centre and courses for both PADI and SSI certifications can be conducted.

An optional third dive is also offered, subject to an additional fee. During the summer months, Umbi also offers special daily diving trips at 16:00 to increase your chances of spotting the elusive hammerhead sharks at Jackson Reef in Tiran. Of course, all boats come fully equipped with all the necessary safety gear and amenities. The house reef at Umbi Sharks Bay is ideal for those seeking shorter dives, without committing to a full day on the boat. Fast and exciting single dives can also be offered aboard the resort’s RIB.
