About The Ocean Club
About The Ocean Club
The Ocean Club, A Four Seasons Resort, is set along an eight-kilometre stretch of private white sand beach on the northern shore of Paradise Island. Situated only a few hundred kilometres off the northeast coast of New Providence, Paradise Island combines picture-perfect scenery, vibrant entertainment, and easy access to the must see city of Nassau. Living up to its privileged positions, this resort has been perfecting the art of romantic accommodation since its grand opening in 1962 and has become a playground for celebrities and discerning travellers alike.
This resort is surrounded by some of the prettiest gardens on the entire island, creating an enclave of remarkable seclusion, where intimate low-rise buildings are nestled amongst Versailles-inspired lawns. Stone pathways lead you through a lush, multi-tiered landscape, where purple-hued bougainvillaea bloom and every corner offers a quiet place for intimate conversations while overlooking the waters of Nassau Harbor. Beyond the gardens, guests at The Ocean Club, A Four Seasons Resort will also have access to one of the world’s most beautiful natural beaches and a stunning, 18-hole golf course that dominates the eastern end of Paradise Island.
Explore the resort
Located on the shores of Paradise Island, overlooking the turquoise waters and beyond, this resort’s main restaurant, DUNE by Jean-Georges, presents an international menu inspired by the travels of its Michelin-starred chef. At Ocean Blu, guests can also discover fresh grilled Western tropics fare with the enticing allure of Latin American cuisine. When it comes to refreshments, Dune Bar invites guests to savour iconic Bahamian cocktails and other signature drinks while swaying to the rhythm of live music. Likewise, the Martini Bar and Lounge serves custom creations by master mixologists along with the favourite martinis of a few notable guests.
The Ocean Club’s onsite swimming facilities incorporate a family lagoon pool with a beach-style entry, a 38-metre infinity pool overlooking the ocean, and an elegant adults-only sanctuary is reserved for guests ages 16 and over. A spa is also on hand to help guests slip into total relaxation, while motivation comes easily with state-of-the-art cardiovascular and resistance machines at the fitness centre. Guests can also make use of dedicated rooms for stretching and Pilates, an outdoor free-weights platform, and six tennis courts, three of which are lit for nighttime play. Designed by Tom Weiskopf, the resort’s golf course meanders for several kilometres and challenges even the most experienced players.
