Its collection of recently refurbished villas and rooms each come with stunning views, plenty of space to spread out in between dives, and the resort’s fantastic facilities at their doorstep. The elegant Indonesian style of stilted villas and thatched-roof buildings blends seamlessly into the site’s natural garden landscape, allowing you to retreat into nature and enjoy an undisturbed tropical dive holiday. And, with diver-friendly details at every turn, you’re guaranteed to make the most of your time in the water.

Explore the resort
Solitude Lembeh Resort is set right on the water’s edge, enclosed by jungle gardens and boasting luxury facilities throughout. The restaurant and bar are located on the upper floor of the main building, where a dedicated team of chefs serve up both local and international cuisine. An a-la-carte menu compliments the full-board meal plan with lunch buffets also available. Weather permitting, guests can dine beside the pool under the stars and dietary preferences or restrictions can be accommodated. The infinity-edge swimming pool features a built-in Jacuzzi and overlooks the resort’s sundeck and jetty, creating a peaceful and relaxing space with views of the Lembeh Strait.
From perfectly appointed villas and rooms to babysitting services, resort-wide wheelchair accessibility, and flexible custom dive schedules, every detail of the resort’s facilities and operations are designed to cater to discerning guests. If you want a break from the first-rate scuba diving, check out day excursions to the Minahasa Highlands or Tangkoko National Park, explore the village fish market and Bitung town with local guides, or up the ante with an exciting rafting or trekking trip. Snorkelling is also possible on the house reef.
Diving from Solitude Lembeh
More than 30 of Lembeh’s renowned dive sites lie within easy reach of Solitude Lembeh Resort, most less than a 15 minutes’ journey from the private jetty. A flexible schedule of daily dive trips is offered, with boats returning to shore after each dive, allowing divers to freshen up and recharge the camera batteries! Longer half and full-day trips to the more remote reefs of Eastern Lembeh can also be arranged. Divers can grab a complimentary air or nitrox tank and explore the resort’s house reef on their own at any time during the day. Or, enjoy small guided groups with four divers to each eagle-eyed local spotter.
Divers here have access to perfectly maintained rental equipment, and a fleet of three custom-designed luxury dive boats with gear-up benches, easy exits, and secure camera storage. Premium photography facilities include a purpose-built camera room equipped with universal sockets and an uninterruptible power supply across the room’s 21 workstations. The centre also offers a full menu of PADI scuba diving courses, with options for beginners through professional-level training. The team at Solitude Lembeh Resort is also trained and prepped to accommodate disabled guests, including wheelchair-accessible diving.

Attention to sustainability isn’t just a feature of Solitude Lembeh Resort, it’s a core principle and operating standard for the entire family of Solitude resorts and liveaboard vessels. Plastic is minimised wherever possible with fresh drinking water dispensers placed resort-wide, including in each room. Complimentary toiletries are also offered in stylish ceramic dispensers, rather than individual plastic packaging. This resort partners with the Lembeh Foundation, a fantastic local organisation that works to empower rural communities across the region, and to preserve the unique nature and culture of Lembeh.
