At Royal Hideaway Playacar, the dive centre is located on the resort’s private beach and is staffed by a qualified multilingual team and instructors. A full range of scuba certification courses can be undertaken here, catering to guests of all kinds – from young children wishing to take their first breaths underwater, to recreational divers looking to turn pro or seasoned adventurers seeking a new challenge such as cave diving.
This dive centre operates up to five local dives each day, including night dives. Two dive boats are on hand to ferry guests to a variety of sites, most of which lie within a short, 15-minute trip from the beach.
