The dining experience at Park Hyatt Hadahaa is seasoned to perfection with locally inspired creations and exemplary service. Guests will be delighted by the variety of dining choices here, from casual, poolside eats, island grills, and Japanese sushi bars to plant-based cuisine served in a treehouse amongst the canopy. Of course, no tropical island getaway would be complete without a selection of refreshing beverages, and Park Hyatt Hadahaa’s central bar is conveniently placed beside the white-sand beach, infinity pool and lush gardens - making it one of the main venues guests find themselves returning to time and time again.

Hadahaa’s pure beauty and history provided the inspiration for this resort’s holistic approach to wellness. By following a winding pathway through lush green gardens, guests will find the Vidhun Spa village, complete with an infinity pool, private treatment cabanas and an in-house Ayurvedic doctor. An on-site yoga instructor also offers private sessions in the purpose built yoga pavilion, in your villa or at the end of the jetty. For a more vigorous workout, state-of-the-art cardio and strength equipment can be found in the fitness centre. 

A variety of excursions can also be organised during your stay, including castaway adventures designed to impart basic survival skills, expeditions to the equator, and boat cruises focused on star-gazing, fishing, dolphin watching and turtle spotting. Snorkelling and sea kayaking are also popular activities.

Diving from Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa

The PADI 5-Star dive centre, Blue Journeys Dive and Activity Centre, offers a wide variety of adventurous and structured diving options and memorable activities. The attentive and professional PADI instructors and divemasters provide stellar service to guests with prompt and clear communication, small group instruction, and an array of experience opportunities for all levels of dive capability. Blue Journeys Dive and Activity Centre also offer dive certification from beginner to professional, with an emphasis on excellent quality equipment and personalised service.

The remote and unspoilt Huvadhoo Atoll is best known for crystal clear waters with up to 40-metres of visibility and stunning underwater topography. Journey aboard a traditional dhoni with the Blue Journeys team in search of exciting memories to bring home. During their time here, divers can choose to explore the island’s 360-degree house reef, or venture further to over 40 world-class dive sites including Koodhoo Kandu, Villingili Kandu, Koodhoo House Reef, Nilandhoo Kandu, Whale Shark Night Point, and many more.

Conservation

From its inception, environmental and socially sustainable initiatives have been an integral part of Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa’s operational culture. The resort has collaborated with EarthCheck to monitor its performance in accordance with a stringent, internationally recognised approach. As the first resort in the Maldives to commit to the EarthCheck principles throughout its design, construction and operational stages, Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa has been awarded the prestigious EarthCheck “Building Planning and Design standard”. In 2017, the resort was audited by Green Globe and was certified Gold for its practices. Blue Journeys Dive and Activity Centre also boasts the PADI Green Star Award for its commitment to green business practices and responsible environmental preservation.

Special consideration is given to employing and empowering local residents and wherever possible, sourcing local and fair trade products and services. With this in mind, Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa has formed a committee of elected ‘Hyatt Thrive Ambassadors’ to represent the different communities. Through better connectivity, shared knowledge, development of business skills, and encouragement and participation from both sides, Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa leads mutually beneficial programmes that inspire sustainable development projects, allows the resort to gather supplies and recruits from nearby islands, and ensures the local communities develop and prosper.
