Vessel information
Navis 1 is a state-of-the-art catamaran designed to provide the ultimate liveaboard diving experience. Measuring an impressive 23-metres long and 13-metres wide, this all-steel vessel boasts three spacious decks and exceptional stability, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable journey at all times, even in rough seas. Luxury and functionality were placed at the forefront of this vessel’s design, ensuring everything aboard Navis 1 was carefully crafted to meet the needs of the most discerning divers.
This vessel is managed by Manta Liveaboards – a new, independent operator founded in 2023 by two passionate scuba divers and profound ocean lovers who shared a fondness for underwater exploration. Manta Liveaboards distinguishes itself from the large fleets by offering deeply personalised and utterly unique diving experiences.
Navis 1 embarks on week-long Tubbataha voyages between March and June, and is the only large liveaboard vessel to base itself in Coron for the remainder of the year, and the first to offer its amazing Coron to El Nido itinerary. Each trip is designed to give guests a holistic experience, incorporating village tours, live music, and trivia nights to make your journey as much about the local culture as it is about the spectacular marine life.
Onboard Navis 1
On board the Navis 1, socialising and unwinding are as much a part of the experience as the dives themselves. The indoor lounge offers a cosy space to share stories and watch presentations, while the open-air dining area allows guests to savour delicious meals with a view. Meals are served buffet-style and consist of both Western and Asian cuisines, with snacks and fruit available throughout the day. The highlight of the Navis 1 is the expansive roof deck, which features a fully-stocked bar and plenty of seating, creating the perfect setting to unwind after an exhilarating day of diving.
Diving from Navis 1
During each trip, guests will have access to a comprehensive range of high-quality rental equipment, including BCDs, regulators, wetsuits, masks, fins, and other essential gear. Suitably certified divers will also be able to make the most of nitrox fills, while those without certification are able to take the course on board, along with Advanced Open Water training and the wreck diving speciality. Among the many amenities available to guests, the large camera room caters to underwater photographers, providing a dedicated space to maintain and store their equipment.
