Nautika Dive Alor is a stylish locally-owned dive resort located on the western coast of Alor, overlooking the Pantar Strait and Pulau Pura. Nautika Dive Alor is located in Alor Besar, on a beautiful stretch of coastline known locally as Molugara Beach, not too far away from the most popular dive sites. The first and the only PADI dive resort in the Alor Archipelago, Nautika was inspired by a passion for diving, environment and education, with the heartfelt mission to provide safe and memorable underwater experiences. This establishment is also owned and operated by Indonesian dive professionals, who have taken a leading role in helping the local people grow and develop.

Nautika Dive Alor features just four rooms to accommodate divers, guaranteeing a peaceful and intimate atmosphere at all times. Although the rooms vary in size, all are equipped with an ensuite bathroom and are similar in style and amenities. Guests can choose between a variety of sleeping configurations, with king, twin, and bunk-bed options.
This small resort’s setting is one of its defining features, boasting a beautiful and spacious beachfront courtyard garden furnished with comfortable lounge chairs and hammocks. Here, guests will also find the ocean view dining area with large arching doorways and windows framing the spectacular vistas beyond. Meals generally come in the form of delicious home-cooked buffets, though a la carte meals can be created to cater to specific dietary requirements. Afternoon teas are also available here, with refreshing beverages and local pastries served with spectacular views as the sun begins to descend towards the horizon.
Diving from Nautika Dive Alor
Nautika’s dive centre is equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable and enjoyable scuba diving experience. The building includes a well designed, clean and secure equipment storage room, as well as a fresh water shower and rinsing area. Experienced divers will appreciate the option to use 31% nitrox, while underwater photographers are catered to with an air-conditioned camera room featuring an air blower, tools, cleaning kit, and charging points.
A comfortable fibre-glass dive boat is on hand to transport guests to and from the best sites and comes fitted with emergency equipment and hospitality amenities, as well as a top deck for taking in the view. Warm, dry towels, windbreaker jackets, snacks, individual water bottles, tea and coffee are all available on board. Top-quality, well-maintained equipment can be rented from the dive centre - including Sherwood Silhouette BCDs, Mares Avanti Quattro fins, and Aqualung 5mm wetsuits - with everything except dive computer and gloves included in the price. Range of PADI scuba certifications can also be undertaken, from Open Water to Divemaster, and night dives can be arranged.
