Kubu Indah Dive Resort and Spa makes an excellent escape for scuba divers and outdoor adventurers. This dive centre is located on Bali's northeastern coast, home to some of the island's calmest dive sites. The diving here is excellent, with a mix of thriving coral reefs and cool macro sites, plus easy access to the USAT Liberty shipwreck. Most of the region's best sites can be explored from shore, or are found just a few minutes off the coast, making it easy to dive up to four times a day. The Kubu Indah Dive Resort and Spa also offers a wide variety of PADI courses conducted in the dive centre's comfortable classroom and spacious pool.

The grounds at the Kubu Indah Dive Resort and Spa are picture-perfect, with manicured lawns, lush gardens, and two large infinity pools. Just 15 villas and bungalows dot the property, giving guests plenty of room to stretch out and relax. While the walk down to the beach is rocky, the resort's house reef begins just a few metres from the shore, making it a perfect pick for snorkellers and shore divers.

Each day at the Kubu Indah Dive Resort and Spa starts with a free breakfast, packed with fresh tropical fruits and local specialities. The resort's restaurant also serves up a wide variety of a la carte options for lunch and dinner, plus a well-stocked bar and a lovely ocean view. If you're looking for some deep relaxation, plan to spend some time in the on-site spa, which offers massage therapy, facials, and bodywork, as well as multiple-hour packages to help you unwind and destress.

If you aren't planning to dive every day, check out one of the resort's above-water day trips. Visits to some of Bali's most beautiful beaches, temples, markets, and monuments are easily arranged. Intrepid guests can also take on more adventurous activities like volcano trekking and whitewater rafting.

Diving from Kubu Indah

The Kubu Indah Dive Resort and Spa doesn't operate day trips to anywhere and everywhere, unlike some of the bigger dive centres in the area. Instead, this small and passionate team focuses on connecting their clients with the very best in local diving. Located just five-kilometres from Tulamben beach and the USAT Liberty wreck, this dive centre is ideally situated for beginner divers, wreck divers, and macro enthusiasts. The resort's house reef is easy to dive from shore by day or night, and hosts multiple diving areas including coral gardens and sloping rubble, perfect for muck diving.

In addition to local diving, this dive centre offers day trips to the best sites around Kubu, Tulamben, and Amed, with up to four tanks a day. And, special trips to Nusa Penida and Padangbai can be arranged on request. The Kubu Indah Dive Resort and Spa also features excellent facilities for students, with a comfortable classroom and spacious pool for training. Courses are conducted in small groups, and frequently from shore right in front of the resort. High-quality Aqualung rental equipment is available, as are spacious and well-kept facilities for private gear. And, nitrox is free for all qualified divers.
