Galaxy is a stylish, mono-hull liveaboard offering interesting naturalist voyages throughout the Galapagos Islands. Built in 2007, this Smart Planet certified vessel features a sleek design that stands out among the crowd. Inside, the vessel is light, airy, and inviting, combining first-class amenities with a familiar touch – creating an atmosphere of contemporary comfort that will help guests feel right at home. And, whether seeking adventure or relaxation, Galaxy’s comfortable and convenient facilities have been designed specifically to help guests enjoy the rich experience they deserve.

At 35-metres in length, Galaxy comfortably accommodates 16 passengers in eight stylish cabins – all of which feature plenty of space and offer ensuite bathrooms equipped with showers. The vessel offers several itineraries throughout the Galapagos Islands, lasting between five and six days, and exploring different areas of the archipelago. Accompanied by a bilingual naturalist guide, these trips focus on unparalleled natural discovery, incorporating a wide range of excursions and scheduled activities.

Onboard Galaxy

Galaxy’s dining room is located on the main deck and is where guests can delve into the multifaceted richness of Ecuadorian gastronomy. The onboard chef is an experienced professional that will prepare the most exquisite traditional local and international dishes. Menus are exquisitely augmented with native ingredients from the Galapagos Islands and ingeniously amalgamated with global culinary accents to invigorate your senses. During the cruise, guests will also have access to local and international wines, as well as all types of cocktails and beers.

To the aft of the main deck, guests will find a lounge area equipped with a TV, DVD player, and small library. The windows here provide plenty of natural light as well as an appreciable view of the sea. Galaxy’s bar is also located here, serving a variety of local and international wines, as well as all types of cocktails and beers. A solarium is situated at the top of the vessel, providing the ideal place to relax and soak up some sun in the lounge chairs.

Excursions from Galaxy

Throughout each trip, guests will have access to a wide range of excursions and activities designed to immerse them in the incredible natural world of the Galapagos Islands. Outings include snorkelling, kayaking, hiking, paddleboarding, and panga rides, as well as endless opportunities to encounter magnificent creatures such as marine iguanas, giant tortoises, and blue-footed boobies.
