Vessel information
Built and launched in the Maldives in 2010, the Duke of York is a salubrious motor yacht designed to exacting standards using the skills of local naval architects and engineers. Measuring 36m long and 11m wide, the Duke of York is spread over four luxurious levels with indoor parquet flooring and teak on the main deck. Up to 24 guests can be accommodated in 11 cabins, which all feature ensuite bathrooms. This vessel primarily focuses on the iconic central atolls, with occasional forays into the deep south. A wide range of thematic cruises are also on offer, including trips dedicated to underwater photography, freediving, sharks, mantas, rebreathers, scientific discovery, and more.
This outstanding liveaboard is managed by one of the most experienced operators in the country, Luxury Yacht Maldives. With more than 30 years of experience, Luxury Yacht Maldives guarantees high standards of professionalism and is well-known for taking luxury cruises to new levels. A small massage centre specialised in Ayurvedic treatments is always on hand to guide guests through the art of simple relaxation with yoga, meditation and massage. And, when it comes to diving, the accompanying dhoni provides everything you need for safe underwater adventures, including professional crew, scuba courses, nitrox, and rebreather assistance.

Guests can expect plenty of fresh fish, although the onboard chefs are always ready to satisfy any dietary preferences.
The large air-conditioned saloon has a bar offering a wide choice of beverages and two comfortable sofas, which become a meeting and relaxing place for guests. Occasionally, the saloon even turns into a dancefloor, thanks to its Dolby Surround TV-Stereo system. Additional open-air communal spaces are spread over three decks and offer large areas furnished with sun loungers, cushions and sun mats.
