About Drop Dive
Drop Dive Maldives is located on the island of Rasdhoo, less than an hour from Male's airport, and boasting some of the best diving in the Maldives no more than a 20-minute boat journey away. This professional and energetic dive centre provides high quality service in a relaxed and friendly environment, offering personal attention at all times, and boasting year round diving in warm, crystal clear waters.
The dive centre provides value for money accommodation with the White Coral Guesthouse which has several room options as well as a sun terrace. The guesthouse can also organise a range of activities to suit any traveller. As a not-for-profit program, the team at Drop Divers care deeply about the marine environment, protecting marine life from ghost nets and conducting regular studies of the reefs. Volunteering opportunities are also offered by Drop Dive which are designed to add value to both the dive centre’s projects and the applicant’s CV.

The restaurant at White Coral provides continental and Maldivian breakfasts, including halal choices, and the option of in-room service. Guests can also take a romantic evening meal on the sandbank or at the White Coral’s sunset terrace. The guesthouse has a shared TV lounge and board games, while the concierge desk can organise a variety of activities such as night fishing, island visits, windsurfing, kayaking, or trips to the local secluded sandbanks and lagoon. Snorkelling is also a popular pastime on Rasdhoo, and beautiful multicoloured fish, oceanic mantas, sharks, and sea turtles can be seen throughout the year. The Maldives are an excellent spot to watch dolphins, with over 20 different species calling these atolls home.
Diving from Drop Dive
Drop Dive Maldives is an energetic dive centre open 365 days a year. Guests can visit 17 dive sites within a 20-minute boat ride from the dive centre, including 2 wreck dives suitable for all levels. High quality Aqualung rental equipment is used, with varying tank sizes available according to the needs of each guest. Dive computers and compasses can also be rented. All of Drop Dive’s instructors are multilingual, providing services in Italian, Spanish, English, German, and Chinese – a truly unique offering on the island. Dive groups are kept small, with a maximum of four divers per guide or instructor, providing individual attention and personalised service.
This SSI dive centre offers first-class teaching facilities with courses from beginner to professional, as well as a range of lessons for children. Guests can challenge themselves with up to 24 different speciality courses and various ecology training options. The staff at Drop Divers are passionate about the ocean and love to discuss ways to protect its ecosystems.
