Conservation
Dolphin House Resort was built with conservation in mind and aims to run their entire operation in symbiosis with the surrounding natural environment. Great care was taken to protect the property’s beach and waterline during construction - helping to maintain the house reef in pristine condition. This also helped to preserve a perfect sunset view - without any buildings blocking the way. Extensive tropical gardens surround each of the resort’s structures, adding a secluded and natural ambience while allowing local wildlife to thrive.
Half of this resort’s energy is provided by an on-site solar plant. Mineral water and filling stations are found in guest rooms and common areas - encouraging visitors to bring a drinking bottle from home and supporting Dolphin House’s property-wide ban on single-use plastics. The resort also incorporates personal wellness into their eco approach. You won’t find televisions or distracting electronics in your room - this is a place to unplug and reconnect with nature. And, you can rest assured that each meal’s offerings will include locally and ethically sourced ingredients - including sustainable line-caught seafood.
This spirit of conservation carries over to the dive centre, home to the resort’s in-house marine biology college. Speciality diving courses and educational seminars are offered here, with a focus on local wildlife and reef ecology. The dive college also works closely with local authorities, environmental organisations, and scientists to ensure the continued conservation of the local dive sites they love.
