For guests who’d like an authentic taste of the Maldives, Farivalhu offers traditional dishes within the tropical garden. The diving at Diamonds Thudufushi is managed by IDive Diving Centre, whose qualified instructors are waiting to help guests fully enjoy the wonders of South Ari’s underwater world. The mission of IDive is to make you feel at ease in any situation and deliver unforgettable and relaxing diving experiences for divers of all experience levels. Scubapro equipment is available to rent from this dive centre, as well as digital cameras, diver propulsion vehicles, and dive computers, and nitrox is free for suitably qualified guests.
Each day you will visit a different site aboard a typical Maldivian dhoni vessel specifically adapted for divers. Both single and two-tank excursions are offered by this dive centre, as well as night diving. Several local sites offer good chances of spotting manta rays during the seasons, including Thudufushi Thila, Panettone, and Tamala Thila. Of course, whale sharks are one of the main marine attractions in South Ari, with divers also regularly encountering a variety of reef sharks.
