To top it off, the resort also offers weekly shows of international class, typically based on the sensuality of burlesque and cabaret before closing with a party enlivened by the resident DJ.

Catalonia Royal Tulum features a huge free-form swimming pool close to the beach, complete with a sumptuous seaview whirlpool. Guests seeking sublime relaxation can also indulge in a range of treatments at the onsite spa, while fitness enthusiasts can continue their routine at the gym, thanks to various cardio and strength equipment. Diving from Catalonia Royal Tulum

Diving at is overseen by Pro Dive International, a PADI 5-Star dive operator and career development centre. Founded in 2003, Pro Dive International is renowned for its high standards of excellence, quality, and safety. At Catalonia Royal Tulum, the dive centre is located on the resort’s private beach and staffed by a qualified multilingual team and instructors. A wide range of scuba certification courses can be undertaken here, catering to guests of all kinds and nitrox is free for certified guests.

This dive centre operates up to five local dives each day, including night dives. Dives usually require a quick complimentary shuttle to Puerto Aventuras where guests can board the boat. Extended excursions can also be organised, travelling up and down the coast to experience the likes of the Playa del Carmen’s bull sharks, Yucatan’s famous cenotes, the whale sharks of Isla Contoy, and more. Rental gear is available on site, comprising around six individual sets produced by top-quality brands such as ScubaPro and Cressi.
