About Cap Maison Resort and Spa
Cap Maison Resort and Spa is a Relais and Chateaux property situated in the far northwest of St Lucia. Offering plenty of privacy, yet conveniently close to the island’s chic tourist attractions of Rodney Bay, this location is one of the most sought after spots on the island, appealing to both energetic guests as well as those seeking a relaxed retreat. Home to two of the island’s best restaurants, Cap Maison is a food lover’s paradise. And with regular food events, wine cellar tastings, pop-up dining venues, and visiting chefs, this resort is sure to delight those who “live to eat”.
Within minutes of this luxurious beachfront resort, guests can also explore Rodney Bay’s own flourishing dining scene, as well as a new superyacht marina, and an 18th century fort in Pigeon Island National Park – where the English and French fought over this stunning island several times. The quaint fishing village of Gros Islet is also minutes away, with its famous Friday night street party, while the island’s capital, Castries, is a favourite for shopping.
Explore the resort
Offering unobstructed views towards Martinique and Pigeon Island, The Cliff at Cap is one of the hottest restaurants in the region with a menu inspired by a fusion of Caribbean and French influence. The Naked Fisherman is located right on the beach and shaded under a thatched roof. Featuring a state-of-the-art barbecue and grill, the atmosphere is less formal but the food is taken just as seriously. Rock Maison is another unique dining experience. With lanterns and tiki torches accentuating the views, and a champagne zip-line bringing you your drinks, it is surely one of the most romantic tables anywhere in the Caribbean. And, the resort’s onsite wine cellar boasts an enviable collection of around 2,000 top quality bottles.
Spa Maison offers a delectable assortment of treatments using the finest products from Sothys of Paris. Adjacent to the spa, guests will find a fitness centre equipped with all the cardio and resistance machines, as well as bodyweight training stations. Yoga and pilates classes are also available, and for those who prefer to exercise outdoors, guided hiking and running trails can be organised. The beautiful beach at Cap Maison is known locally as “Smugglers Cove” and has a host of complimentary non-motorised water sports, including kayaking, Hobie Cat sailing, paddleboarding, windsurfing, and snorkelling on the house reef.
Diving from Cap Maison Resort and Spa

There is an abundance of aquatic life to see in designated marine reserves spread along the west coast of the island, incorporating walls, wrecks, and a variety of fabulous reefs.
Located in Rodney Bay, this PADI 5-Star dive centre operates two custom designed boats and explores around 25 different sites in the local area. Facilities found here incorporate Scubapro and Cressi rental equipment, optional nitrox fills, and an onsite freshwater swimming pool. Extra conveniences include a coffee shop, restaurant and bar, as well as fresh water showers, toilets and wireless internet.

Situated amongst such beautiful surroundings, Cap Maison feels compelled to take all necessary steps to reduce its environmental impact. Solar panels are located on each purposely designed flat roof space to maximise natural energy usage and air-conditioning systems have been upgraded to draw less power whilst also enabling units to be controlled centrally, ensuring unoccupied rooms are not being needlessly cooled. The resort also catches rainwater for laundry use and features its own sewage treatment plant from which grey water is recirculated as irrigation for the tropical gardens.
Cap Maison’s bathroom amenities are made from already recycled plastic and are refilled and reused after a special cleaning method. The resort also has a plentiful supply of natural rainforest spring water and provides guests with refillable glass bottles. Finally, Cap Maison only works with suppliers of responsibly sourced products – whether it is furniture, food or cleaning products – and prioritises local suppliers wherever possible.
