About Atmosphere Resort
About Atmosphere Resort
Located at the southern tip of Negros Oriental, and set within a seven-acre coconut plantation, the luxurious Atmosphere enjoys a spectacular beachfront setting alongside the warm, coastal waters of the Bohol Sea. Whether you want to scuba dive, indulge in the enchanted spa, practice yoga, engage in enriching activities, or simply read a book by a pool, this glorious resort will provide a relaxing and pampered holiday experience from start to finish.
Atmosphere’s high-end suites and apartments are amongst the lovely gardens, where guests can enjoy the fabulous infinity pools or simply laze in the sun - and babysitters and childrens’ clubs are on hand to give parents a well-earned break. First-class dining and fine wines are standard, and further indulgence can be found at the poolside bar, bakery, or on-site spa. For divers, the incredible reefs and turtles of Apo are just a boat-ride away, whilst Dauin’s black-sand coastal sites are the perfect playground for underwater photographers.
Explore the resort
Atmosphere’s beautiful architecture and design combines stylish modernity with a delightful tropical twist. At the heart of Atmosphere is the stunning infinity pool built along the edge of the beach and overlooking nearby Siquijor and Apo Islands. And, for guests with kids, there’s a separate family pool area with water jets, pool toys, and cushioned sun loungers. Next to the infinity pool is the Blue Restaurant, where you can enjoy a beachside fine-dining experience, or a relaxed al fresco BBQ with the sand between your toes. You can also head over to the Bakery Coffee Shop by the family pool for a coffee or snack.
Non-divers and families are particularly well catered for at Atmosphere. The resort’s Sanctuary Spa offers a diverse selection of treatments and therapies, wellness programmes and daily yoga classes run by the in-house instructors. Children can play at the Kid’s Cove, with its playroom, playground and scheduled activities, and a babysitting service means parents can take a night off without worrying about their family. Last, but not least, Atmosphere’s volcanic sand beach and coral reef, just off shore, are perfect for play, relaxation and snorkeling - and lies within a biodiverse marine protected area.
Diving at Atmosphere
As a PADI 5-Star Career Development Centre, you’ll find top-class facilities suitable for all levels of diving, from try dives to IDC programmes. You’ll enjoy your own equipment storage space, wireless internet, complimentary nitrox, full equipment rental, and a spacious briefing lobby. Not to mention a classroom with flat-screen TV and a superb camera and video room with private work space for each diver.
The experienced team of divemasters and instructors teach all courses, including speciality certifications and photo workshops, as well as instructor courses six times per year. And, for guests interested in learning more about the marine life of Dauin, the in-house marine biologist teaches marine biology workshops, workshops for kids, and holds presentations in the evenings several times per week. Atmosphere has a large bangka-style outrigger boat for trips to neighbouring Apo Island or other longer day trips as well as smaller boats for dives along the Dauin coastline. The dive centre offers up to five dives a day, as well as night dives off the beach, and guarantees small dive groups with just four guests per guide.

The reefs right outside the resort lie within a protected marine sanctuary, where boat traffic is not allowed other than in a designated channel further offshore. Atmosphere Resort also sponsors social and environmental projects that focus on sustainability. Their Gives Forward programme currently supports a soup kitchen that provides 85 children with lunch every day of the year, allowing them to go to school. To protect the ecosystem, Atmosphere uses recycled, local and refillable products as much as possible throughout the resort.
