DAY 1:
Pick up at Sorong airport, transfer to the boat, welcome drink and accommodation. Check dive in the afternoon in Pulau Saonek and night dive somewhere in the vicinity.

DAY 2:
Diving in the fabulous reefs in the Dampier Straits: Mioskon, Cape Kri and Sawandarek, among others. Overnight to Aljuy Bay.

DAY 3:
Two dives in Waterlogged, a visit to the Pearl Farm to witness the process of this interesting industry, and afternoon and night dives in the jetties of the Pearl Farm.

DAY 4:
Equator Crossing and full diving day in Kawe: Two dives in Eagle Rock, an afternoon dive in Black Rock, and a night dive near Wayag.

DAY 5:
Dive around the Wayag area, in Pelagic Rock, Figure Eight island and The Cathedral. Afternoon ascent to Wayag Viewpoint and night dive in the vicinity.

DAY 6:
Dive around Fam, In Galaxy, Keruo Reef and Melissa’s Garden. Ascent to Fam Viewpoint between dives and night dive in the vicinity.

DAY 7:
Full diving day in Yengefo: West Gam, Mayhem, Citrus Ridge and Karang Lalosi. Afternoon visit to the village of Airborek and night dive on its jetties.

DAY 8:
Early morning trek to see the birds of paradise. Then dive in Mike’s Point and spend an afternoon in Chicken reef. Night dive in the jetties of Yenbeser.

DAY 9:
Dive Sardine Reef and Blue Magic. Sail back to Sorong in the afternoon and prepare to fly back the morning after.

DAY 10:
Transfer to the airport after breakfast.

SMY Ondina liveaboard is a classic phinisi vessel constructed using traditional methods. The purpose-built liveaboard was completely renovated in 2014, updating its already spacious interior and adding additional facilities for divers and underwater photographers. This boat provides professional diving services which are both affordable and flexible enough to cater to all levels of divers. SMY Ondina does away with expensive and irrelevant luxuries and focuses purely on the essentials - creating a comfortable, informal, and affordable liveaboard experience with scuba diving at its core.

This liveaboard is European-owned and boasts an accommodating attitude towards every guest, as well as international standards for safety and fun. SMY Ondina’s crew are experienced in working with divers of all skill and comfort levels. Dive groups are kept small and split by experience and air consumption, and each day’s flexible schedule lets you dive up to four times if you’re up to it. Additional amenities include a large sundeck with loungers, secluded excursions included in every trip, and superb facilities for personal gear and cameras.

Onboard Ondina

SMY Ondina liveaboard can accommodate up to 16 divers with plenty of space to relax, including an air-conditioned dining room and a spacious sundeck equipped with sunbeds, a hammock, and an outdoor shower for cooling off. Indonesian and international cuisine is freshly prepared using local ingredients and served buffet-style in the saloon. Guests can also choose to enjoy their meals al-fresco with stunning views. Coffee, tea, soft drinks, water, fruit and snacks are provided free of charge with beer, wine and espresso available to purchase. Massage services can also be arranged with prior notice.

Diving from Ondina

This liveaboard is perfectly-equipped for adventurous diving, with a spacious shaded dive deck and custom tenders, personal gear storage, nitrox, and top of the line rental equipment. Photographers can also make use of a dedicated camera station, rinse bins, and even a pressurised air gun for drying gear. You’ll dive with a small group of guests with similar skills and air consumption, guaranteeing each diver has the time of their life. Plus, this boat’s eagle-eyed spotters have years of dive experience, bringing guests as close as possible to Indonesia’s most incredible wildlife and underwater attractions. PADI and SSI courses are offered onboard including Advanced Open Water certification, and specialities such as nitrox.
