Day 1:
Upon arrival, you will have to pay your Galapagos National Park entrance fee and your luggage will be inspected to make sure no foreign substances are introduced. Your first stop will be in Baltra North East, where you will disembark close to the yacht in order to try on your diving suit. Make sure you get comfortable; you’ll be using this equipment during your entire diving journey!Day 2:
This area on the northeast side of Isabela island offers a few great dive spots. One of them is Ciudad de las Mantas, named for how common it is to see giant mantas. The plankton-rich waters of this area are an attraction for many species of rays, sharks, sea lions, turtles, etc.
The main attraction of Cape Marshall is a spot where it is so frequent to see giant mantas that it was named “City of the Mantas.” They come to feed on the plankton-rich waters, which is why visibility can be low.Days 3-5:
Due to the large number of dive sites available around Darwin and Wolf, as well as the marked influence that marine conditions can have on the area, the dive sites will be chosen with these factors in mind. The guide will talk with all passengers in advance to inform them about the location, expected conditions, and alternatives of each site and learn about their interests. A night dive may also be offered if conditions allow. On day five, the vessel will then depart back towards the main archipelago.Day 6:
Arriving back at Isabela Island, you will have the opportunity to do 1 dive at Vicente Roca Point, followed by 1 dive at Cape Douglas on Fernandina Island.Day 7:
Enjoy 2 dives at Cousin’s Rock, Santiago, before trekking through the highlands of Santa Cruz in the afternoon. The native scalesia forest of El Chato Tortoise Reserve is the best place to search for Galapagos giant tortoises in their most authentic setting.Day 8:
It’s time to say goodbye to Galapagos. You will be assisted off the vessel and back to the airport by the naturalist guide and some crew members.Sample itineraries are for guidance only. Actual itineraries may differ slightly due to factors such as weather, wildlife, logistics and local regulations.Payment & cancellation terms
