Day 1:
You can enjoy a pickup and transfer to the boat from the international airport. The Belize Aggressor IV departs at 18:00 from the Fort George Hotel and Spa dock. Upon embarkation, you will be given a refreshing drink/snack and a boat briefing. Get to know the boat and then your fellow guests over dinner. Soon it will be time to bed down for a good night's sleep ahead of your week of diving.Days 2-6:
Get ready to dive some of Belize’s most iconic sites as the Belize Aggressor IV arcs around the southern tip of Turneffe Atoll and circumnavigates Lighthouse Reef. Sheer walls like Painted Wall, Half Moon Caye Wall, and Quebrada are adorned with huge crimson gorgonians and wandering, lilac rope sponges. Weather permitting, divers can also explore the mystical Great Blue Hole, a collapsed freshwater cave system.Arise at 07:00 for a minimal breakfast before dive 1, where you will get a taste of the marine life and colourful reefs that Belize diving is all about. Dry off and enjoy a fully cooked breakfast before dive 2. While guides are always in the water for safety reasons, you are allowed to discover the reefs in buddy pairs or small groups without following a guide. You can experience Belize's marine environment at your own pace and explore different areas on each dive.Lunch is normally at 12:00 and may feature Belizean, Mexican, Caribbean, and International cuisine. Your 3rd dive will be at 14:00 at a new site. After your 3rd dive you can enjoy an afternoon snack and a soak in the sundeck hot tub before the 4th dive at 16:30. While underwater, look out for spotted eagle rays in the blue. Dinner is at 18:00, but if you have the energy, there can be a 5th dive (night dive) scheduled at 20:00. Normally this is at a site already visited in the afternoon.Day 7:
The penultimate day offers morning dives only, with an afternoon land visit to the Mayan ruins or cave tubing arranged for you at an additional cost. The staff also often hosts a Guest Appreciation Cocktail Party at 17:30, followed by dinner on shore (not included).Day 8:
Check out at 08:00, after a continental breakfast, and climb into an air-conditioned minivan. You can be transferred to the Belize City International Airport or to the Fort George Hotel and Spa.Sample itineraries are for guidance only. The menu on board is varied and plentiful, with a variety of American feasts, barbecues and local cuisine prepared by a trained chef and served buffet style. Beverages include fruit juices, soft drinks, tea, coffee, and a limited selection of complimentary local beer and wine.
