Day 1 - Arrival in Kaimana - Triton Bay
Your cruise begins in Kaimana, where we'll welcome you at the airport and transfer you to the Wisesa. After a welcome mocktail and a safety briefing, the crew will weigh anchor, and the captain will sail toward Triton Bay. During the approximately 6-hour cruise you'll settle into your cabins, get your diving gear and cameras ready, and meet the crew and fellow guests. Time permitting, enjoy an introductory snorkelling session to check your equipment, reacquaint yourself with being underwater, and experience Western Papua’s marine life for the first time. The day ends with a memorable sunset, a delicious dinner, and your first night aboard Wisesa in Triton Bay.

Day 2 - Triton Bay - Whale Sharks & Mauwara Lagoon
Around 6 AM we set out to find whale sharks. These gentle giants are present year-round, though their exact location changes with the catches of local Bagan fishermen. Using powerful lights, fishermen attract silversides to their platforms overnight; at dawn, when nets are hauled, whale sharks arrive to feed. Snorkelers with fins, masks, and snorkels can float among these magnificent animals and photograph them. Look under the platforms too: dolphins, swordfish, and other pelagics often feed there in a spectacular display while whale sharks glide nearby. In the afternoon, we'll explore the stunning Mauwara Lagoon from the Wisesa.

Day 3 - Aiduma Island
We'll begin near the "3 Rocks" islets with snorkelling on a vibrant reef. Next we pass through the Iris Strait and anchor near Saruenus Island, famed for some of the region’s best dive and snorkel sites. A standout is "Little Komodo", where large rocks nearly break the surface and soft corals host schools of anthias, damselfish, and fusiliers. Deeper down you'll find snappers among black corals and hunting jacks; wobbegong sharks sometimes appear. If currents cooperate, enjoy a gentle drift dive along a soft coral wall, finishing at the picturesque aquarium. To the island’s south, very rich shallow reefs offer superb snorkelling.

Day 4 - Exploring Sangalla Bay - A Natural Oasis

Today we explore a remote part of Western Papua: Sangalla Bay, a sanctuary of lush vegetation and rugged coastline. The morning highlight is a waterfall that plunges from dense jungle into a turquoise marine lagoon—an unforgettable natural spectacle. Swim in the lagoon, soak up the tranquil setting, and enjoy the view. In the afternoon we’ll move deeper into the bay to its calm waters, ideal for birdwatching—bring binoculars to spot the region’s tropical birdlife. As evening falls, we raise anchor and sail toward Urat Island for the night.

Day 5 - Urat Village and Underwater Wonders
At sunrise, Wisesa anchors near the Papuan village of Urat on Semai Island. Stroll the peaceful beaches and meet friendly locals; the village offers an authentic glimpse into daily life. Back on Wisesa, prepare for more snorkelling—this area’s shallow reefs are exceptional. Dive into clear waters to explore colourful coral gardens and abundant tropical fish. As the day ends, we sail onwards toward Pisang Island for another night at sea.

Day 6 - Pulau Pisang - An Isolated Mini Archipelago
In the morning we anchor at Pulau Pisang, a secluded group of pristine islets with rich snorkelling waters. Enjoy white sandy beaches fringed by coconut palms and lush vegetation—an idyllic, Robinson-Crusoe‑like setting. Swim in crystal-clear water, wander the shore for hidden finds, and taste fresh coconuts. Watch for the intriguing coconut crab among the island’s wildlife. In late afternoon we leave Pulau Pisang and prepare for tomorrow’s adventures in Raja Ampat.

Day 7 - Boo & Warakarabet - Welcome to Raja Ampat!
Today we enter Raja Ampat, beginning at Boo Island southeast of Misool. Boo offers iconic sites like the "Boo Window", known for exceptional coral cover. Snorkelling here includes two small islets linked by magnificent underwater canyons with both hard and soft corals. "Magic Mountain" is a vast reef famed for its biodiversity and an underwater ridge descending to about 20 metres where oceanic manta rays are regularly seen—snorkelers can often watch them from the surface. We then head to the Fiabacet area to explore legendary spots such as Nudi Rock and Whale Rock—true five-star dive sites.

Day 8 - Love Lagoon & Yilliet Sharks
Start the day with a short climb on Karawapop Island to view a heart-shaped lagoon—a striking natural formation where reef and hills create a vivid, heart-shaped pool surrounded by turquoise waters. After a short sail we anchor near Villiet Island and spend the afternoon on a beach by a ranger station. The reef is excellent for snorkelling, and the main attraction here is the many juvenile blacktip sharks that swim in shallow water close to shore—an extraordinary opportunity to observe these impressive animals up close.

Day 9 - Romeo & Juliet, with the Balbulot Lagoon
Romeo and Juliet are two neighbouring islets whose reefs we will explore. Their coral plateaus shelter barracudas, Napoleon fish, blacktip reef sharks, and the epaulet shark, endemic to Raja Ampat. Large coral formations create winding passages for reef fish, giving these sites dramatic topography. In the afternoon we visit Balbulot Lagoon by dinghy—its towering karst peaks and crystal-clear waters create some of Raja Ampat’s most breathtaking scenery. Swim in natural pools, admire the blues of the lagoon, and take in this stunning landscape.

Day 10 - Jellyfish Lake & Beach Time
Misool hosts unique sites, including a marine lake inhabited by a species of jellyfish that has lost its sting and thrives there. You'll have the chance to swim among these gentle creatures and observe them up close. In the afternoon we sail to a deserted island for relaxation—stroll the soft sand, snorkel in clear water, rest in the shade of palms, and enjoy the tranquil setting through sunset. The crew will prepare a barbecue to celebrate this unforgettable stretch of the cruise from Triton Bay to Raja Ampat.

Day 11 - Darfalem Lagoon & Harfat Peak
This morning we explore Darfalem Lagoon by tender, cruising among karst islets and clear blue water—keep an eye out for turtles and juvenile sharks. Our goal is the ascent of Harfat Peak, a rugged lookout that rewards the climb with one of Raja Ampat’s most spectacular panoramas: endless turquoise waters and dramatic karst formations. After returning to Wisesa in the early afternoon, the crew will weigh anchor for the final leg to Sorong Port as the cruise draws to a close.

Day 12 - Disembarkation in Sorong
Wisesa arrives at Sorong Port early this morning. After a final group photo with the crew, it’s time to say goodbye. We will arrange your transfer to Sorong Airport for onwards travel. We hope this farewell is only temporary and look forward to welcoming you back for more adventures in Indonesia’s exquisite waters.
