Ratu Laut - meaning Queen of the Seas - is a traditional 30-metre phinisi operated by Barefoot Conservation, a non-profit marine conservation organisation working in Raja Ampat, Indonesia. This affordable liveaboard offers air-conditioned cabins, shared bathroom facilities, open-air dining and a spacious dive deck supported by two tenders. Diving focuses on Raja Ampat’s renowned sites, with marine biologist-led briefings and opportunities to learn about manta identification and reef research. Ratu Laut is ideal for eco-minded divers, solo travellers and sociable guests who prioritise meaningful diving, small groups and conservation impact over luxury facilities.
