Suvadiva Atoll Special

Days 1-7:
Upon arrival in Suvadiva, transfer to the M/Y Princess Sara.
Suvadiva Atoll is the largest and deepest atoll in the Maldives, reaching down to -80 meters. Lots of deserted islands emerge, covered with thousands of palm trees and surrounded by large white beaches. The seabeds are true coral gardens visible even in very shallow water. Inside live a myriad of fish and colorful minnows of all sizes. Nearly all diving takes place in the ocean passes or along the corners of the pass, where currents attract large pelagics. You will be able to swim alongside dozens of gray and whitetip sharks and sometimes hammerheads, threshers, or tiger sharks.

Whale sharks, on the other hand, make their appearance in the moonlight, under the stern, to eat plankton attracted by the boat's headlights. Encounters with rays, eagles, turtles, and dolphins are common. Intact reefs with corals that completely carpet the seafloor create gardens of incredible beauty that can be appreciated whether diving with scuba tanks or only with fins and masks. The currents are often quite strong in these areas, and the water has carved out caves where corals, fish, and invertebrates live.

Disembarkation in the morning and transfer to the airport for the return flight.
