Hallaniyat Islands (Mirbat) 6N

Upon arrival at the airport, guests are met by a team member and transferred to the ship. Alternatively, hotel pick-up is available. Check-in on board begins at 2:00 PM. After arrival, guests are treated to a delicious lunch, and depending on the schedule, the ship departs either that same evening or the following morning. 

Days 2-5:
The winter season (December to March) is dedicated to the southern tour, which leads along the coast to the Hallaniyat Islands – probably the most diverse diving area in the Sultanate! These islands offer exceptional biodiversity and an incredible abundance of fish.

This group of five remote islands lies in the open ocean, about 40 to 70 km south of Dhofar, with only one of the islands being inhabited. Enchanting bays, framed by rugged cliffs, make the crossings between the islands an unforgettable experience – even on water!

With a bit of luck, you might spot the resident humpback whale population and large pods of dolphins on the return trip to Mirbat. The pristine Hallaniyat Islands boast a healthy marine life, huge schools of fish, and a fascinating wreck. Occasionally, you might even spot leopard sharks and mobula rays.

A typical dive site visit would include:
- Ras Mirbat: slipper lobsters, lobsters, nudibranchs, beautiful soft corals, scorpionfish, and moray eels;
- Marriott Wreck: a vibrant underwater landscape teeming with large schools of fish, octopuses, and barracuda;
- Hasikyah Aquarium: impressive coral formations, giant table corals, schools of trevally, leopard sharks, and a fantastic night dive site;
- City of Winchester: a large wreck at 20–30 meters with barracuda, batfish, trevally, rays, mobula rays, and an incredible variety of fish. 

The exact route depends on the weather and the diving experience of our guests. Route changes due to official regulations are reserved.

Make the most of the last couple of dives at the Hallaniyat Islands before returning to port.

Check-out takes place after breakfast at around 09:00, followed by transfer to the airport.
