Nai’a is a pioneering liveaboard operating from Lautoka, Viti Levu, Fiji, with itineraries exploring Bligh Water, Namena, Wakaya, Gau and the Koro Sea. Built as a solid steel expedition vessel, this 37m liveaboard accommodates just 18 guests in nine air-conditioned ensuite cabins, with a spacious salon, sun deck, camera room, dive deck and stern platform. Diving is conducted from two skiffs, giving easy access to Fiji’s renowned dive sites. With scheduled transfers from Nadi airport and nearby hotels, Nai’a is perfect for experienced divers looking to experience Fiji’s diving without domestic flights.

Day 1:
Pick up by staff at the airport or local hotel and transfer to the boat. Meet the crew and welcome the briefing.

Days 2-7:
Conduct 3-4 dives each day, including a night dive. Possible dive site:
Bligh Water: The Soft Coral Capital
Separating Fiji’s two main islands, this nutrient-rich channel experiences strong, sweeping currents that feed vast fields of neon-colored soft corals. Iconic sites like Mellow Yellow and Mount Mutiny feature breathtaking vertical walls and massive sea fans blanketed by golden and purple anthias fish.

Namena Marine Reserve: Pure, Untouched Biodiversity
Established as a total fishing ban zone in 1997, Namena is a pristine ecological crown jewel. Wrapping around a tiny island, the reserve boasts over 400 species of corals and 1,000 species of fish. Divers flock here for dramatic drop-offs, chimney-like reef structures, and frequent encounters with schooling hammerheads, grey reef sharks, and passing sea turtles.

The Koro Sea: The Pelagic Highway
Feeding into both Bligh Water and Namena, the deep, wild waters of the Koro Sea act as a major marine highway. This area is famous for high-voltage drift diving and massive pelagic life (open-ocean animals). Sites like E6—a spectacular seamount rising from the abyss—offer surreal swim-throughs and structural topographies where you can spot hammerheads, barracuda, and migrating whales.
 
Day 8:
Check out from the boat at 08:00. You will be transported to the airport or a local hotel.
