Itinerary details
Highlights
- Exceptional circular route diving the central and northern atolls
- Experience the diverse diving and dramatic wrecks of Lhaviyani Atoll
- Possibility of encountering manta rays and whale sharks
- Encounter the grey reef sharks of Noonu Atoll
- Dive in the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve of Baa Atoll
- Night dives included in the schedule
- Organised land tour to Male, the capital of the Maldives
Arrival and boarding are between 15.30 and 16.00. Depart for night anchorage at 17.00.
Enjoy 3-4 dives a day. Is all about manta ray sightings and also includes a visit to Hanifaru Bay during the trip. Hanifaru Bay is a UNESCO biosphere reserve that allows only snorkelling, but there are sometimes around 50-70 manta rays inside the lagoon. This is a highlight that is only offered on this route. It doesn’t replace any diving activity; it's a bonus add-on excursion. The dives typically are easier going and have less current compared to the southern (Lhaviyani) route and offer a higher chance of seeing a whale shark as well.
Enjoy the last dives of the trip in the morning, before returning to port after lunch to join a Malé city walking tour. Today you will be able to indulge in dinner ashore, followed by a farewell cocktail party on board.
Depart the vessel no later than 08.00.
