EcoXplorer is a 28m expedition liveaboard operating across the remote waters of eastern Indonesia, from Raja Ampat and Cenderawasih Bay, to Triton Bay, Halmahera and the Banda Sea. Rebuilt in the style of a traditional Indonesian phinisi, the vessel accommodates a maximum of 12 guests in ensuite cabins and combines dedicated diving facilities with cultural visits, wildlife encounters and island exploration. Highlights of the itineraries can include spectacular reefs, manta rays, whale sharks, wrecks, schooling fish and unusual macro life, depending on the itinerary. And with all profits supporting EcoNusa’s conservation and community programmes, EcoXplorer is particularly well suited to divers seeking small-group expeditions with a more meaningful local connection.

Day 1 - Saumlaki
07:00 – 09:00: Pickup at Mathilda Batlayeri Airport, Saumlaki (SXK). Transfer to Saumlaki Harbor; welcome aboard.

09:30 – 13:30: Vessel orientation, safety brief, cabin allocation, and lunch onboard. Set up dive equipment.
14:00 – 15:30: Dive 1 (Check Dive): Nustabun Island / Saumlaki Bay (Easy slope, marine life check, weight adjustments).
16:00 – 17:30: Afternoon snacks & rest.
19:00 – 20:30: Welcome Dinner. Vessel anchors near Matakus.
Day 2 - Matkus, Adt & Anggormas
06:00 – 07:00: Light breakfast.
07:30 – 09:00: Dive 1: Matakus Island
09:00 – 10:00: Full breakfast while short-sailing to Adaut.
10:30 – 12:00: Dive 2: Adaut
12:00 – 13:30: Lunch onboard.
14:00 – 15:15: Dive 3: Anggormas Island
16:00 – 18:00: Sunset snacks; beach walk
19:00: Dinner onboard. Begin a 7-hour overnight sail to Selu Island.
Day 3 - Selu & Wuliaru

07:30 – 09:00: Dive 1: Selu Island Point.
09:00 – 10:00: Full breakfast.
10:30 – 12:00: Dive 2: Wuliaru Wall.
12:00 – 13:30: Lunch onboard.

Overnight sail to Maru & Molu (8 hours).
Day 4 - Maru & Molu

09:00 – 10:00: Main Breakfast
10:30 – 12:00: Dive 2: Molu Island Pinnacle.
12:00 – 13:30: Lunch onboard.
14:00 – 15:00: Dive 3: Molu Outer Wall.
15:30: Begin major open-sea crossing towards Bui / Watubela Group (~20 hours).
16:00: Afternoon Tea / Snacks.
19:00: Dinner onboard during transit
Day 5 - Bui
06:00 – 07:30: vessel arrives in Bui Island. Light breakfast.
07:30 – 09:00: Dive 1: Bui Pinnacle (Schooling fusiliers & reef sharks).
09:00 – 10:00: Full breakfast.
10:30 – 11:45: Dive 2: Bui Coral Plateau.
11:45 – 13:30: Lunch.
14:00 – 15:00: Dive 3: Bui Point.
16:00: Afternoon Snacks. Short 6-hour transit towards South Watubela.
19:30: Dinner onboard; anchor in a calm bay.
Day 6 - South & North Watubela
06:00 – 07:00: Light breakfast.
07:30 – 09:00: Dive 1: South Watubela Wall.
09:00 – 10:00: Full breakfast.
10:30 – 11:45: Dive 2: Watubela Channel.
11:45 – 13:30: Lunch; vessel moves to North Watubela (2 hours).
14:00 – 15:00: Dive 3: North Watubela Ridge.
16:00: Afternoon Snack / Beach Excursion.
18:30 – 19:30: Optional Night Dive.
Day 7 - Manawoka & Panjang Island
06:00 – 07:00: Light breakfast.
07:30 – 09:00: Dive 1: Manawoka Corner.
09:00 – 10:00: Full breakfast; shift to Panjang Island.
10:30 – 11:45: Dive 2: Panjang Ridge.
11:45 – 13:30: Lunch.
14:00 – 15:00: Dive 3: Panjang Outer Wall.
16:00: Afternoon snacks & village/island visit.
18:30 – 19:30: Optional Night Dive.
20:00: Dinner. Early morning shift towards Koon.
Day 8 - Koon
05:00 – 06:00: Short sail to Koon Island
06:30 – 07:15: Light Breakfast.
07:30 – 09:00: Dive 1: Too Many Fish
09:00 – 10:00: Main Breakfast. Depart Koon for Misool (Raja Ampat). Open-water crossing (~20–21 hours across the Ceram Sea).
11:30 – 13:00: Lunch onboard.
16:00: Afternoon snacks at sea.
19:00: Dinner & overnight navigation.
Day 9 - Warakaraket
06:00 – 07:00: Arrival at South Misool (Warakaraket). Light breakfast.
07:30 – 09:00: Dive 1: Karang Bayangan (Seamount, pelagics, mobulas).
09:00 – 10:00: Full breakfast.
10:30 – 12:00: Dive 2: Tank Rock (Batu Tiga) (Dramatic topography & soft corals).
12:00 – 13:30: Lunch onboard.
14:00 – 15:00: Dive 3: Nudi Rock (Soft corals, nudibranchs, sea fans).
19:00 : Dinner
Day 10 - Fiacabet & Wayilbatan

09:00 – 10:00: Full breakfast.
10:30 – 12:00: Dive 2: Magic Mountain / Shadow Reef (Manta Ray Cleaning Station).
