Reception at the airport, transfer by bus from the airport to the marina, installation in the cabins and discovery of the boat.
After breakfast, a welcome briefing (organisation of the week, safety instructions on board, etc.) will be presented to you by the guide. A verification of your diving documents and your insurance will be carried out before leaving the marina. The captain will head to the first dive site 30 minutes from departure. The briefing of the so-called "rehabilitation" dive will be presented to you by the guide. The second dive will be done during the afternoon. In the early evening, after dinner, the boat will begin its journey towards Daedalus. About 7 hours of navigation will be necessary.
At sunrise, you will start your day of diving on the Daedalus wall. Your guide will offer you three dives. This reef offers you about ten different dives. You will do 2 dives to the north of the reef to perhaps have the chance to observe hammerhead sharks. In the afternoon, you will dive to the west of the reef where the coral diversity is impressive. This side also offers perfect light in the afternoon. Between dives, you will have the opportunity to visit Daedalus Lighthouse. In the early evening, after dinner, the boat will continue its course all night towards the South to arrive in the early morning under the Tropic of Cancer at Rocky Island and Zabargad.
You will do three dives around Rocky and Zabargad islands. Sailing times between sites vary from 30 to 45 minutes between islands. Dive sites are carefully chosen by your guide based on the weather and the number of boats at the sites.
In the early morning, the captain and his crew will take you to the sights of Saint John's. Three dives will be offered. Sailing times between sites vary between 30 minutes and 1.5 hours in the Saint John's area. Dive sites are carefully chosen by your guide based on the weather and the number of boats at the sites.
That day we will begin the ascent to the north. On the way, we will stop at Sataya (Dolphin house) located in the Fury Shoals area, where you may have the opportunity to swim with dolphins. We will then continue our ascent to the site of Sheleneyat in the Wadi Gemal area, where the third dive of the day will take place at dusk or at night.
In the early morning, you will arrive in the Marsa Alam area, on the mythical Elphinstone Reef. You will do 2 dives there, before sailing another two hours to arrive in the early afternoon at the marina of Port Ghalib. You can take advantage of the rear platform to rinse your equipment. Your guide will also suggest various extra diving activities to keep you busy on Friday afternoon.
The departure of the boat will be after breakfast or according to your flight and transfer schedules to the airport or hotel.
