Day 1:
Sebayur is approximately 3 hours from Labuan Bajo and makes a perfect check dive site. Good visibility and relaxing conditions allow for all divers to get comfortable and make necessary adjustments. Wainilu is one of the preferred night dive sites in Komodo. The macro life is exceptional with possibilities to see flamboyant cuttlefish, pygmy octopus, harlequin shrimp, and various nudibranchs.

Day 2:
Start the morning with a sunrise trek to the top of Padar, one of the iconic viewpoints in the Komodo Marine Park. The view is famous for the 3 different colored beaches in the background (black, white, and pink). Dive sites here have various topography and conditions. Pillarsteen and 3 sisters are coralrich, with Secret Garden being a bit more sandy bottom with high chances of seeing eagle and manta rays cruising by.

Day 3:
These sites are in the southeast of the park, located off the southern coast of Rinca Island. The dive sites here are covered in colorful soft corals. It’s common to see schooling jacks, giant trevallies, and white and blacktip reef sharks, as well as various nudibranchs. This area is also the most popular area to find sea apple sea cucumbers. Night dives in Torpedo Alley are also popular with those who enjoy critter hunting.

Day 4:
Start this day diving off of the southern coast of Komodo Island. We’ll do 2 dives around Manta Alley. As the name suggests, the probability of seeing manta on these two dives is quite high. After the 2 dives at Manta Alley, we will move the boat north along the eastern coast of Komodo Island and stop at Pink Beach for 1 afternoon dive and a night dive. We also have a visit scheduled for trekking to Komodo Island to see the Komodo dragons. A beach visit to Pink Beach with a hilltop viewpoint is also a recommended stop. We can adjust the afternoon schedule to suit the needs/wants of the group.

Day 5:
Classic Komodo dives. These small islands are in the middle of the Komodo marine park. Tatawa besar (big), Tatawa Kecil (small), Siaba Besar: expect to see healthy hard and soft corals, a drift dive on Tatawa Besar and lots of green and hawksbill turtles.

Day 6:
Dive sites are among the most famous in the area. Castle and Crystal Rock are underwater pinnacles on the northern boundaries of the park that attract some of the most marine life due to the tidal currents that pass these sites. Expect to see many schools of various kinds of fish (trevallies, surgeons, hogs, etc.) and then also white and black tips and grey reef. Even some pygmy seahorses on the sea fans that encircle the underwater topography. Shotgun is famous for it’s drift dive between two islands, where it’s common to see midnight snapper, black and white tips, humphead parrotfish even the occasional manta.

Day 7:
Finish up the dive itinerary with 2 dives at two of the most iconic dive sites in the park. Batu Bolong, a large underwater pinnacle with a rock above the surface sitting in the middle of the strait. Here it’s common to see Napoleon wrasse, Hawksbill turtles, Giant Trevallies and occasional blacktips and whitetips. Karang Makassar is well suited to a last dive in that it’s a long, relaxing, shallow drift dive with high chances to see mantas.

Day 8:
Disembark the vessel.
