Launched in 2004, the award-winning 36 metre-long MV Hurricane was specifically designed to cater to divers seeking a luxurious recreational and technical diving liveaboard experience in the Red Sea. Comfortable accommodation comprises 11 spacious air conditioned en-suite cabins suitable for up to 22 guests. Departing from Sharm el Sheikh, Hurghada and Port Ghaleb, divers can choose from exciting itineraries across the northern and southern Red Sea that are based on required skill level. Divers can explore the iconic reefs and wrecks of the Red Sea, where diverse marine species of all sizes and colours thrive at world-famous sites such as the Brothers Islands, Elphinstone and the Thistlegorm wreck. Escorted trips and special weeks including photography, wreck, tec, freediving and mini safaris are also available, as well as private charters.
This 36-meter luxury liveaboard can comfortably accommodate up to 22 guests in 11 spacious twin cabins, with air-conditioning and en-suite bathrooms. Meals are served buffet-style in the large, modern dining area on the main deck, and a spiral staircase provides access to a bar stocked with a fine selection of beers, wines and soft drinks. The elegant saloon offers a relaxing indoor space, equipped with comfortable cushioned benches and a large TV and entertainment centre - perfect for watching movies or footage from the day’s diving. Double doors from the saloon open directly onto a large cocktail deck where snacks are served in the late afternoon. Equipped with a jacuzzi and sun loungers, the upper deck provides the ideal hang-out spot, while the shaded sundeck is perfect for tanning while soaking up views of the stunning Red Sea.
Diving from Hurricane
The MV Hurricane’s dive deck has been designed for comfort, convenience and uncompromising luxury. State-of-art facilities include an air gun for cameras, gear storage, and a low dive platform for easy entry and exit from the water. She’s fully tech-friendly and offers high pressure gas blending facilities with prior notice, as well as extra space for twin sets and rebreathers. Top quality rental equipment is available on board, and nitrox can be provided to certified divers. Guests are transferred to and from dive sites by two 5.5-metre accompanying zodiacs, allowing the main vessel to be undisturbed by dive logistics. Seasoned guides and dive instructors conduct recreational and tec dives to the best sites in the Red Sea, and offer guests a fantastic opportunity to get tec certified for a truly unique experience.
