As a PADI 5 Star Dive Centre, Eco Divers offers a highly personalised, relaxing and safe diving experience. Their dive guides are among some of the most experienced in Manado and keep groups to a maximum ratio of 4:1. The dive centre itself comprises a training pool, camera room with storage and battery charging, warm water showers and a shop. Additional facilities include 15-litre aluminium tanks, tanks with INT and DIN valves, equipment rental and nitrox at an additional cost. Purpose-built dive boats are used by Eco Divers, which seat a maximum of 12 divers, and feature a shaded relaxation area, sundeck, toilets, showers and stainless steel ladders. Each boat is also equipped with a variety of safety features such as GPS, mobile phones, life jackets, life rings, navigation lights, DAN oxygen and First Aid kits.
Eco Divers is located just 30-minutes from Bunaken National Park, which boasts some of the richest underwater ecosystems in the world, and only several minutes away from some amazing muck dives. In fact, guests at Eco Divers Manado can explore over 50 dive sites, most of which are within the park, but also includes a house reef and some mainland sites. Divers can expect visibility of around 25 meters and water temperatures that sit in the high 20s. Free snacks, fruit, unlimited tea and coffee are available onboard the boats throughout the day. Snorkelers and boat-sitters are also catered to. Night dives are available at an additional cost and a full range of PADI courses are available.
At all times, Eco Divers aims to be environmentally and socially responsible. As a member of the North Sulawesi Watersports Association (NSWA), Eco Divers is fully committed to the protection of its local reefs, including those it dives. This resort is actively involved in a number of conservation projects aimed at helping local fishing communities to help sustain their reefs.
