My Blue Planet 1 is a small yet spacious, modern power yacht, cruising Egypt's northern Red Sea. This liveaboard offers friendly and social voyages, hosting a maximum of 16 guests in total comfort. Choose from a wide variety of itineraries, hitting all of Sinai's highlights for coral reef, wreck, and shark enthusiasts. MY Blue Planet 1 is the smallest and fastest vessel in the prestigious Blue Planet fleet. For guests, that means a small group setting, perfect for getting to know your fellow divers and crew. Operating out of Hurghada, the Blue Planet 1 focuses on the northern Red Sea - in particular, the famous reefs and wrecks of the Sinai region. Each voyage includes legendary sites like the SS Thistlegorm wreck and Abu Nuhas. Then, heads north to Ras Mohammed and Tiran, south to the Brothers Islands and the Straits of Gubal, or concentrates on the region's most iconic wrecks. These eight-day safaris include outstanding facilities for divers and photographers, two to three dives a day, and expert local guiding.
Onboard Blue Planet
MY Blue Planet 1 offers a small and intimate setting for adventure, sleeping just 16 guests in eight cosy cabins. Despite their small size, these guest rooms are surprisingly comfortable with oversized windows and sea views, electronics charging stations, and ample space for personal storage. When you aren't busy blowing bubbles, relax above deck with two spacious sun and shade decks, cushioned seating, and plenty of room for al fresco dining. Or, head below to enjoy a stylish and modern lounge and dining area where three delicious family-style meals are served each day, plus unlimited hot and cold drinks, fruit, and snacks.
Diving from Blue Planet
MY Blue Planet 1 offers northern Red Sea itineraries with a focus on the reefs and wrecks of Sinai, Ras Mohammed, and Tiran - plus occasional trips to the Brothers Islands. Equipment setup and buddy checks are a breeze thanks to this liveaboard's spacious dive deck with personal equipment storage, electronics charging station, and easy steps down to two custom dive tenders. Other excellent facilities for divers include nitrox, separate rinse bins for underwater cameras, and well maintained rental equipment. Plus, the passionate and professional team are dedicated to safety and fun, and will happily hand out little extras like towels and robes to help chilly divers warm up fast.
