MY Blue Fin is a recently refurbished, spacious, and modern safari yacht, cruising Egypt's central and northern Red Sea out of Hurghada. This liveaboard offers friendly and social voyages, hosting 24 guests in total comfort for seven days at sea. MY Blue Fin was renovated in 2016, bringing its spacious interior up to the modern standards of the prestigious Blue Planet fleet. This liveaboard's comfortable cabins and common areas offer plenty of room for rest and relaxation when you aren't out exploring. You’re guaranteed to feel perfectly looked after with an energetic customer service team, happy to help with anything you might need. Whether this is your first liveaboard or your hundredth, you're going to love this boat's updated facilities, and a fun, social atmosphere - perfect for making new friends and dive buddies.
Operating out of Hurghada, the Blue Fin focuses on the northern and central Red Sea - in particular, the famous reefs and wrecks of the Sinai region. Each voyage includes legendary sites like the SS Thistlegorm wreck and Abu Nuhas, then heads north to Ras Mohammed and Tiran, or south to Safaga. Speciality itineraries also feature trips to the Brothers Islands and the Straits of Gubal or concentrate on the region's most iconic shipwrecks. These seven-day safaris include excellent facilities for rec and tec divers and photographers, up to four dives a day, and expert local guiding.
Onboard Blue Fin
MY Blue Fin offers a spacious and comfortable setting for up to 24 guests, in ten generous cabins and three expansive king suites. Each room comes perfectly equipped for a week on the water, with ample storage for personal items, in-cabin charging for electronics, and plenty of space for lounging around between dives. Head above deck to relax in the sun or shade, with cushioned seating, beanbags, and an outdoor dining area. Indoors, you'll find a stylish dining room and lounge, with contemporary decor, air-conditioning, and a full bar. Three delicious buffet-style meals are served each day, with an exotic blend of local and western dishes, plus all-day snacks, hot and cold drinks, and fruit.
Diving from Blue Fin
This vessel offers northern and central Red Sea itineraries with a focus on the reefs and wrecks of Sinai, Ras Mohammed, and Tiran - plus occasional trips further south. You'll enjoy a week of easy diving from the Blue Fin's spacious shaded dive deck and two custom tenders. And, you'll have access to well-organised personal equipment storage, electronics charging station, nitrox, separate rinse bins for cameras, and well maintained rental gear. Support for tec and rebreather gear is also available. But, the best part of diving from this boat is definitely its passionate and professional team.
